New Art Journal covers

have finally been completed except for extra coats of acrylic mediums.  I made chipboard tiles from painted deli papers and glued to an old scrap book that was eventually going to the dump.   I love recycling.  Everytime I am about to pitch something out I try and think of a new way to use it instead of just dumping it.
Back
The tiles were all cut to the same size after gluing the paper on my substrate.  The ends were lightly filed with an emery board and stained with black paint; and glued to the entire front and back of the book.  The binder has rings inside to add as many pages as I would like.  Let me know what you think about this creation.

New Art Journal Pages

have been made; but it is true I have been MIA.  The time spent away from my blogs have been well spent; as I take care of Honey Luv and creating art; including a little dressmaking.  I said"a little" dressmaking and I mean a "little".  I am not going to say when I will post again ; but I wanted my faithful followers to know I'm still around.  Here's some of what I have been up to in my Art Journal world.

New Art Journal Pages

are still emerging from my painted journal pages at a slow pace.  I found this lady in one of my painted background pages.  Taking a que from Amanda Trought over at:
amandatroughtart.blogspot.com. and realityarts-creativity.blogspot.com.

I looked closely at the painted page and voila'; there she was.

I also found this lady in the back of one of my pages and was most profoundly delighted.  I did not know these ladies were hiding in my pages.
